The Sheriff's Office will accept concealed carry applications and issue permits on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. By appointment only between the hours of 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. The Sheriff’s Office does not accept application or issue permits if the holiday falls on a Tuesday or Thursday. Due to Budget cuts we will not be able to accept any appointments outside the normal hours.

Applications are available at the Sheriff's Administrative Office Monday through Friday. Applications can also be obtained online by visiting the

Ohio Attorney General's website.

New Issue: Ohio resident for more than five years:	$67.00
New Issue: Ohio resident for less than five years:	$67.00 + $24.00 FBI Fee
Renewal: Ohio resident for more than five years	$50.00
Renewal; Ohio resident for less than five years	$50.00 + $24.00 FBI Fee
Replacement License Application *(Affidavit must be completed attesting to the loss or destruction of the license);*	$15.00
Temporary Emergency License *(Resident for more than five years)*	$30.00
Temporary Emergency License *(Resident for less than five years)*	$54.00

Acceptable methods of payment are cash, money order, cashiers check, or certified bank check made payable to the "Preble County Sheriff".

A passport-sized photograph must be attached to the upper left hand corner of the application. The applicant must show their original certificate of training when submitting application. The applicant must also provide a copy of the original certificate.
